Q.1.  Why us?

Established in 2004 under the aegis of the DPS Society New Delhi.

Q.3.  Which curriculum / syllabus is followed by your school?
We follow the CCE curriculum of CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) New Delhi.
Class X – AISSE
Class XII – AISSCE

Q.4. What is the medium of instruction?
English Medium

Q.5. What are the school timings?
School timing are as follows :-
1st Shift – 7:00a.m. – 12:50 p.m. – Class VI to XII
2nd Shift – 7:50 a.m. – 1:50 p.m. – Class I to V
Pre-Primary – 8:00 a.m. – 12:50 p.m. – Pre Nursery, Nursery & Prep.

Q.6. What is the strength of students in each class?
In the Pre Primary Wing, – 15 – 25 students in each section.
In Class I – V, – 25-35 students in each section.
In Class VI – X, – 30-40 students in each section.
In Class XI & XII, – 30-35 students in each section.
Teacher : Section Ration = 1.5 : 1
Teacher : Student Ration = 1 :20

Q.7. What is the fee charged?
As per fee structure 2019-20

Q.8. Is there any Hostel Facility for outstation school candidates?
Hostel facility is available for boys and girls separately, well supervised by the Wardens. Good nutritious food is also prepared in the Hostel Mess.

Q.9. Which streams are available in Class XI and XII ?
We have Commerce and Science stream in Class XI & XII.
Science Stream –
English, Physics, Chemistry (Compulsory) Mathematics / Biology, PE/IP/CS (Optional)
Commerce Stream –
English, Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics (Compulsory) Mathematics/ IP/ PE (optional).

Q.10. Can we know about the admission procedure?
Admission is open to all classes from Pre –Nursery to Class IX, and Class XI
Direct admission to Class X and Class XII – only transfer Cases.
No admission test up to class V.
Admission test for classes VI onwards, Admission test will be held for English, Mathematics, Social Science and Science.
For Class XI, Provisional Admission will be granted based on Half Yearly results for CBSE background students. For other Board students, provisional admission will be granted on an admission test in English & Maths (If Opted).
Classes of Class XI will also commence  after the  10th Board Result.

Q.11. Is there any transport facility for students?
Comfortable school buses ply to various parts of the city and adjoining areas as per fixed bus routes. Each bus is escorted by a teacher.

Q.12. What activities are conducted for cultural, sports and other competitions in the school?
All students are divided into four Houses – Brahmaputra, Ganga, Kaveri and Narmada for various Inter House Competitions conducted throughout the year.

For New Admissions :

Registration for New Admissions will start from 1st October’21 for session 2021-22. Rest of the details will be given at the time of Registration.
