Value & Ethics Education

Skills related to ethical decision-making, such as critical thinking and leadership along with important life values, are developed within our students throughout their formative years. This ensures that they are shaped into well rounded young leaders of tomorrow who can rationally and ethically overcome any obstacle in their lives.

WORLD DISABILITY DAY
To mark World Disability Day, DPS, Bilaspur conducts various events like slogan writing, poster making, elocution, debate and street plays, stressing on the importance of creating awareness and helping to create empathy towards those students who are physically challenged.

"The aim of observing World Disability day at school is to motivate and engage students from school age to develop an empathetic understanding towards day to day challenges faced by children with disability in their personal social academic and recreational aspects of life.

Each participant rose to the occasion to defend their argument. While some students stressed on the growing need to replace sympathy with empathy, others focused on redesigning teacher education programmes to prevent marginalisation. The entire programme succeeded in creating awareness about the role of inclusive education in reducing discrimination and providing equitable opportunity and access for all.

SENIOR CITIZEN DAY
Senior Citizen Day is an opportunity for us to acknowledge the contribution and dedication of our older generations and to ensure that we do our best to give something back to the older people. The day is acknowledged to raise awareness about the factors and issues affecting older people and also a day to recognize and appreciate the contributions that older people make to society. We take this day as an opportunity to recognize and thank the service of every senior staff and administration member of the school and their importance in our lives.
