We have well equipped labs in the school, where students put theory into practice. All facilities are provided to our young innovators to meet the curriculum demands with care and guidance of our expert faculty and well trained lab assistants.
SCIENCE LABS
Once student are tuned to the general Science Labs, and proceed to Senior Classes, the specialized Biology, Chemistry and Physics Labs do the same function, but in much greater depth, since they are also designed to take care of the needs of the students for the Board Exams. Experiments in these Labs are explained and done by the students, with care given to intricate details of each of them, so that once imbibed, the details remain in the young minds for the future times.
COMPUTER LAB
The campus has two Computer Labs accessible to students during and after school hours with advanced infrastructure in terms of hardware and software to cater the requirements of the students, teachers and curriculum. The school also arranges online registration for competitive examinations. Computer aided education is given top priority and the academic staff is trained to handle multimedia presentation and to develop their own programme and modules for teaching.
MATHEMATICS LAB
The Mathematics Laboratory is a place where anybody can experiment and explore patterns and ideas. It is a place where one can find a collection of games, puzzles, and other teaching and learning material. The Mathematics Lab provides an opportunity for the students to discover Mathematics through doing. The well equipped Mathematics Lab with models and charts has enough material to remove Mathematics phobia and make the subject easy and comfortable.
SOCIAL SCIENCE LAB
The Social Science Lab of Delhi Public School, Bilaspur is set-up on the notion of functionality and has learning infrastructure. The school has well equipped Social Science Room cum Lab. It is equipped with models, apparatus, maps and material required for the subject which help in creating and maintaining a much needed congenial atmosphere for effective learning. We have important physical and political maps of various countries, maps of history, globes, models of physical feature, instrument to understand the rotation of Earth, pictures and charts which are regularly used by the teachers to make their teaching effective, lively and interesting.
Some of the concepts where imagination is difficult are taught with the help of models like Solar System, Land Forms, Drainage Pattern, Rotation and Revolution of Earth etc. Spacious and effective Lab breaks monotony in teaching and learning process.
LANGUAGE LAB
The Language Lab in our school equipped with the state–of-the-art equipment comprising 42 computers, headphones etc. along with Wordsworth ELT software to support the entire system. This Language Lab can accommodate 42 students at a time. It has been designed to enhance overall communication skills among students including pronunciation, accent, stress and intonation. The Lab is equipped with the latest technologies in teaching language through advance and sensitive microphones which catches a correct phonetic sound immediately.
